Self Paced Instruction for Microsoft Office

You can work on learning Microsoft Office at your own pace through the use of self-paced instruction CDs or textbooks at the Community Ed Center with Don Venturelli.  After registering with the Teacher Center, visit the computer lab at the CEC (24th Street) any Monday through Thursday.  Don will be available on these days from after school for your convenience.

At that time you will work on some computer activities that will help to determine the level from which you are starting. Once in a course, you will be given objectives to attain in order to complete the course.  You may do the work either through computer CDs or by using the course textbook.

There is an overall posttest that covers all the modules on the CD or the book.  Passing this test is one of the requirements for completing the course. You must also use this software to create a project that will be used in your classroom or in your current position.  A copy of this finished project should be given to Don or forwarded to the Teacher Center (identified with your name and the course number).

The courses below are available this semester.  All courses are $30.
